Showcasing Albion's Treasured Waterways, Riverside Parks, and Scenic Trails.

Join us on Saturday, June 13, 2026, as we celebrate Albion's wonderful rivers, riverside parks, and scenic trails. This event is much more than stewardship; it's a celebration of community. The day's events will include stewardship, hospitality, and recreation.

Albion's second annual Kalamazoo River Cleanup will cover Albion's stretch of the Kalamazoo River, the Mill Race, and adjacent riverside parks and river trails. Our greatest achievement will be clearing woody debris to create navigable lanes. Paddlers will be able to continue enjoying Albion's waterways without obstruction or having to portage, making their experience more enjoyable and safe.

Please take a moment to complete the Event Volunteer form to the right to let us know your plans to attend, whether it be alone, with friends or family, or as part of a company/club team-building event.
All the equipment needed will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own personal work gloves for added comfort and protection. In appreciation of your volunteering, we will be offering a FREE Picnic in the Park, which will include hot dogs, brats, snacks, and bottled water. Additionally, each volunteer will receive "Love Our Waterways," "I'm A Waterways Hero," and "Michigan 100% Beautiful" stickers.
