Capital City Region's Rivers, Riverside Parks, and River Trail Cleanup

Autumn Anew is much more than unveiling cleaner, healthier, more enjoyable rivers, riverside parks, and river trails. It's the unveiling of community spirit and civic pride. And here in our Capital City Region, we have much to boast about, even more to celebrate.

So join us, create lasting impact and have tons of fun. Scroll below to sign up to volunteer on either our:

•  Riverside parks and river trail (Greenway). 

A SPECIAL GIFT FROM POTTER PARK ZOO
​In appreciation of your volunteering and great work, Potter Park Zoo will be gifting every volunteer receives a FREE admission pass to their 2025 Wonderland of Lights. It's a special holiday event you won't want to miss.

Main Event Headquarters: Clippert Street

Next the Lansing River Trail just west of Kircher Municipal Field
Secondary Headquarters Sites: Rotary Park & Kruger's Landing

​In addition to our main headquarter site at Clippert Street, near the Lansng River Trail and NEW Clippert Strett Park area, there will be secondary headquarter site at Rotary Park, in front of Lansing Shuffle and next to River Town Adventures kayak rental. Each site will provide trash pickers, garbage bags, Nitrile gloves, FREE snacks and bottled water too.
With your help we will further establish our Capital City Region as offering the most scenic, varied, and enjoyable urban waterways destination. Scroll below and click on your preferred area of stewardship, whether it be on the water (Blueway) or on land Greennway). You will then be directed to your respective signup sheet.

Join us at Rotary Park, along the Grand River in our Capital City's Downtown River District, to celebrate the wonderful work and transformative achievements of thousands of volunteers. Let's celebrate what is now Michigan's most scenic, varied, and enjoyable waterways destination.

Everyone is invited. Bring your family and friends. Food, drinks, and other hospitality will be provided, all for FREE!
