LANSING 2023 CLEANUPS
GRAND AND RED CEDAR RIVERS & LANSING RIVER TRAIL

Join Us. Make An Impact. This Is Our Legacy.

MARK YOU CALENDARS AND BECOME A RIVER ANGEL.
Let's make our Grand and Red Cedar Rivers, and prized Lansing River Trail, look their best ever.

Join us in our mission to protect and improve our treasured and vulnerable waterways and care for our prized river trail system:
  • Saturday, June 10
  • Friday, September 22

Since our beginning just a short time ago, we have removed tons of trash in and around our river, removed longstanding river-wide obstructions, cleared our riverbanks and adjoining parks of unsightly litter and trash, even had a long-time abandoned homeless encampment removed.

We are thrilled that others complete river audits are reporting they don't remember our rivers looking so good.  While we have made remarkable gains, we have much to do.

Join us as make our prized Grand River, Red Cedar River, and Lansing River Trail looks their best ever. It is amazing the joy and ease in which we accomplish great things when working together.
If you, your club, friends and neighbors, or business, can’t make our main event dates on June 10 and September 22,  no worries. There is always time to make a difference. Join us during any of our three river cleanup days:
  • June 8, 9, or 10
  • September 10,  21, or 22
To view photos of some of the troubled areas in the Lansing area that we have cleaned and cleared, watch at the slide show to the right.
