AUTUMN ANEW 2025

PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS

SHOWCASING MICHIGAN'S MOST SCENIC, VARIED, AND ENJOYABLE URBAN WATERWAYS DESTINATION.

Our inaugural Autumn Anew 2025 Photo Contest was created to celebrate the wonderful work of thousands of volunteers who have helped beautify our Capital City Region's waterways, riverside parks, and adjoining stretches of the Lansing River Trail. Through their collective efforts, their achievements have been remarkable and, in some areas, transformative. Their work has certainly been unprecedented.

Our inaugural Autumn Anew Photo Contest was a huge success. We received 192 submissions capturing the beauty of our Red Cedar River from Williamston to the confluence of the Grand River, and our Grand River from Dimondale to Grand Ledge. So many entries made judging each of our four categories and selecting overall winners a most difficult task.

We are proud to announce Autumn Anew 2025 Photo Contest overall winners, outstanding entries by category, and our contest's top photographer. Take a moment to view these photos, which capture what is now Michigan’s most scenic, varied, and enjoyable urban waterways destination. Please share with others so they, too, can enjoy.
