Donate your Refundable Cans and Bottles for Cleaner Healthier Michigan Waters.

Picture
Twenty-seven percent of Michigan's refundable cans and bottles go unreturned. Reasons cited for the low returns rate includes: inconvenience, messiness, long lines at the store, and machines too slow or often not working. We understand. We want to make your returning of refundable cans and bottles easy.
We will do it for you 'and' the monies received will go to directly support Michigan Waterways Stewards activities, such as:
1.  Removing up litter, trash, and other unwanted debris from Michigan's waterways and adjoining greenways.
3.  Supporting riverside park beautification efforts, even our creating new parks.
4.  Creating protective natural and migratory wildlife areas.

5.  Developing our "Love Our Waterways" environmental education programming.

Donating your refundable cans and bottles is a simple three step process.
1.  Collect your refundable cans and bottles.

We Make Collecting Refundable Cans and Bottles Easy.

Collecting refundable cans and bottles can be messy and take up a lot of space at home or place of work. That's why we're partnering with Granger Waste Services.

When we come to pick up your first donation of refundable cans and bottles, for a cash donation of $10 or greater, we will gift you with a stand-up collapsable box, with lid and liner. These boxes are attractive, make for a great space organizer, and eliminates your having to handle messy cans and bottles a second time.
