Our Capital City Region's Rivers

- THEY HAVE NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD -

Lansing Volunteer Sign Up Sheet
Capital City Region Grand and Red Cedar Rivers (Blueway)

Saturday, October 18,  10:00AM - 2:00PM
Event Headquarters: Clipper Street near Lansing River Trail w/ satellite sites at Rotary Park and Kruger's Landing

Join us in our effort to make our Capital City Region's treasured rivers and prized Lansing River Trail system look their best. For those wanting to volunteer to steward our Grand and Red Cedar Rivers, please take a moment to complete the signup sheet below.
We have divided our Capital City Region's Grand and Red Cedar Rivers into six distinct manageable sections (see map below). We have mapped out 16 traditional hotspots which are typically located below bridges and in sharp river turns. If you have a preference to help in either of these sections, please let us know. We will certainly accomodate:
  • Section 1:  MSU Jenison Field House to Kruger’s Landing.
  • Section 2:  Kruger’s Landing to Confluence of Grand & Red Cedar Rivers.
  • Section 3:  Confluence of Grand and Red Cedar Rivers to North Lansing Dam.
  • Section 4:  Moore’s Dam to Confluence ofGrand and Red Cedar Rivers.
  • Section 5:  North Lansing Dam to Tecumseh Park.
  • Section 6:  Waverly Road to Moore’s Dam.
  • Other river stretches available from West Meridian thru MSU campus are also available.
