MICHIGAN WATERWAYS STEWARDS NEWSLETTERS LIBRARY

Last updated January 28, 2024.

It has been an incredible journey. Since our start in November 2022 we have been blesssed with an outpouring of support from business and industry, schools and churches, civic and social clubs, local governments, and thousands of volunteers.

Via the support of over 3,517 volunteers we have managed 200 stewardship projects in 12 Mid-Michigan cities, and removed 160,760 pounds (80.4 tons) of litter, trash, and other debris from Michigan's rivers and adjacent greenways. We have become Michigan's largest waterways stewardship organization.

In our Capital City Region we have experienced a transformation of our area rivers. We now present Michigan's most scenic, pleasant, and varied urban waterways destination.
