Rotary has a mission, to support activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment.
To deliver on our promise and commitment to Jackson, we're excited to bepartnering with Michigan Waterways Stewards to help clean our city's prized Grand River, to make it all that it can. Join us as we all have a shared responsibility to protect, care for, and improve our treasured and vulnerable waterways.
Rotary Jackson Breakfast Club is seeking the support of area businesses and industry, schools and churches, civic and social clubs, local government, and passionate individuals. Join us. We ask that you join us for an afternoon of stewardship. Afterwards we will have a little hospitality to celebrate work well done and our wonderful community.
It is amazing the joy and ease in which we can accomplish great things when working together.
There are many opportunities for those who choose to help on the water. For those who prefer to remain on land, no worries, we'll find a place for you to help. There is plenty to do, whether it be to cover a stretch of riverbank, attend to a messy parking lot, give care to a nearby park or other needing a little attention.
Return to this page often as details develop. In the meantime, mark your calendar and plan to join on Saturday, May 18.
